Studio
A studio still in motion: alive to its context, committed to exchange, and open to beginning anew.
The studio has steadily resisted the search for signature and chosen instead to engage each project as a fresh beginning.
A collective practice
Design, coordination, and delivery are carried by the studio as a whole.

A practice in motion
A short chronology of the moments that changed how the studio works. It is deliberately partial; the full record belongs to the projects.
School of Planning and Architecture, Delhi
Anupam Bansal and Rajesh Dongre enter the School of Planning and Architecture in Delhi, where the friendship behind the practice is formed.
Graduation
Both graduate from SPA Delhi and move into practice and postgraduate study before their trajectories converge again.
Alliance Française de Delhi
A competition mandating an Indo-French partnership is won in association with Stéphane Paumier, establishing co-authorship as a working method.
South Asian University
An international competition for a hundred-acre campus is won with Archiplan, Kathmandu, extending the practice from buildings to urban systems.
From persona to platform
Anupam Bansal Rajesh Dongre Architects becomes the Atelier for Built-Environment Research and Design, making the studio's collective authorship explicit.
